We welcome enquiries for many types of upholstery projects, including,
Sofas, Armchairs, Antique Chairs, Dining Chairs, Stools and Headboards, Conservatory and Cane furniture
We also supply and fit cushions for window
seats, banquette and kitchen seating.
**Various types of Cushion refills can be supplied and fitted in our workshop, if existing cushions have collapsed or are uncomfortable, but cushions must be removable**
Please note that we NO LONGER take on the following types of work:-
Mechanical or Electric Recliners
Automotive Upholstery
Motorhome and Caravan Upholstery
Spring repairs (except where they are part
of a complete reupholstery project)

Peter Wykes Upholstery has been situated in Burton-on-Trent for twenty years, providing a high quality upholstery service, with a flexible approach to the requirements of our customers. We treat every project with the respect it deserves, and a satisfied and happy customer is all we need to make our day!
With over 40 years experience in upholstered furniture, we can give you an informed assessment on many types of upholstery projects, small or large.
Our philosophy of helping you to see the potential beauty in the furniture you already own, seems to be the way forward!
A lot of older furniture is built to a much higher standard than much of that on offer today. We can use that solid framework, and transform it into something which will look and feel like a new piece of furniture, at the same time saving it from Landfill, which can only be a really good thing!
VISITORS TO OUR WORKSHOP & SHOWROOM - 2024
Our Reception & Fabric Showroom is available for visitors to make APPOINTMENTS for general enquiries,
furniture assessments and for browsing through our large range of fabric swatch books and roll ends.
* If you call in without an APPOINTMENT we may not be able to see you if we are with other clients.
*PLEASE NOTE* - It is sometimes necessary to close for a while when we collect or deliver
furniture, so please phone us before making a special journey

Domestic Reupholstery
Do you have an old, well-made, comfy sofa which is just the right size and shape, but it has seen better days? Reupholstery is the way to go for that new-suite feel and look, but with the familiar shape and size
When you just can't find the right size, shape or fabric for your new sofa, chair, stool etc. - we may be able to help with our custom-made service
